I know that some of you have already seen this guy, but maybe there are some that haven't.  He's a half sib to Ace of Diamonds, out of Wernacres Ace High and a Sonny cow. He weighed right at 1200 for a yearling weight, and had a 43 cm scrotal circumference.  He was a twin, so we think his Yearling numbers are fantastic!  He had his picture on here when Vogel's were getting him ready for Polled Congress where we bought him. He was also Reserve Champion bull there.  We've used him on one heifer, and will use him on a few cows this year, with more heavy use next year.  We plan on getting him collected next week at Interglobe.

Pictures were taken in March, we have more pics, just not on this computer. If anyone wants to see more, I can get them, and he is at our farm and ready to be seen if anyone is in the area!

85 lb reported birthweight. We're using him on heifers with caution, and using him on young cows with confidence.

Thanks. I think he might add some good things to my LimFlex heifers. Got him on my watch list now!

Hey, thanks a bunch.  This thread is as much promotion as we've done on him, I don't know if we'll ever really advertise him until we get some calves out of him.  We will have semen for sale on him, and we'll have him at most of the major shows.

Stop on by next time you're at Steve's!  We'd love to show you the cattle and see what you think of them.

Last time we had him measured, he was around a 6 frame, but that was a couple months ago.  I'll measure him again when we get him collected.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone!

UPDATE:  First Red Diamond calf came today. Red with some white markings, bull calf weighing 77 lbs. He was right on his due date, and out of a heifer. We had to pull him because he presented on his side and couldn't get one of his legs out on his own. Once we got him right side up and his head out, he slid right out. I can only hope that the rest of his calves come so easy and are so lively when they come. We're really excited about calving season!

Not to be picky but would  like to see the bulls head

I know we have a picture or two that shows his whole front end, but I'll just have to find them.

Mark- Hopefully we get a heifer or two out of him that we can show, and if this first bull calf is good enough, we're gonna have him all over.
