Did you show the Sunseeker Steer?  How was your weather?  Did it rain?

Hey it was great to meet you Zach - even though it was late and we were both exhausted.

What a tremendous group of cattle - it is commendable and no small feat Zach to finish in the top of one of these classes.

Congrats!

Tomorrow we have our junior show.  Have high hopes for our heifers!

YES!  You were talking to the Truman's.

I finally got a band aide and some ointment.  Our Heatwave heifer got spooked, backed into a giant pile of shavings, freaked, then peeled me off her against a telephone pole.  I ended up on the concrete looking up at her hind end running toward the midway.

Luckily some kind fellow cattle folks caught her.  I was skinned up - and embarrassed!

Who ended up judging?  Who won?  What looked good that didn't win.

Junior show today Lindsey Hawk took GC feeder calf.  Trueblood GC fat steer.  Grimes GC overall  breed heifer(Angus).

Our HW heifer won its class, Simi heifer looked awesome in breed show but had no shot being the youngest Simi heifer there.

Had fun!
