Hip height

Have a market heifer born April 2016 who is only 44 inches tall. She looks really cool but I am afraid she is too short. She has that really cool show steer look but I am a little afraid she may be too short. What is everyone's opinion?

Those 45-47" yearlings will make the best cows, the show world likely prefers those in the 50"+ range

For a market heifer, ill say she's not too short to win her class depending on where she weighs in but after that she will be eaten. Your talking she's short enough to show in the mini hereford world if she was one. I would say that she's gotta be pushing 49-52 to win
