I'm curious on the birth weights people are seeing from Broker. I have a 3 year old Milestone cow that is bred to him. She is huge! I hope she's not carrying twins but after looking at Broker's EPDs i'm hoping its just a big bull. Has anyone seen 100+ lb calves out of Broker? Thanks you in advance for your info.

Yes I had one @ 109lbs. Heifer calf ET.
I should add that this ET heifer calf was out of a CTR Success ricip that has had some big calves over the years and the donor is a Bold Statement X SM cow but usually does not have big calves. Did not have to assist at calving.

I have a Broker half blood bull out of a bismark Angus cow that I bred myself thas sired eight calves so far that have been ok on birthweights.  I think Broker is the best Simmental bull for show cattle but I will not use him again due to ced, bw, api and ti.

I had an AI Broker bull calf 100 lbs couple years ago with bad disposition. This spring got an ET heifer 90 lbs that has alot better disposition. Both were high quality phenotype! Heifers donor dam is a full sister to Irish Whiskey.

Thank you to everyone for the info. The cow's due date is tomorrow. I thought for sure she'd calve early. Hoping this means it's a heifer! I will post a picture and the BW soon.

For coming from a Milestone cow that's a dang good BW. That calf certainly has the potential to be a dandy!
