I was wondering what I should feed to hold my heifer? It is quiet a while to state fair but would like to keep her at about the same condition as now. I was wondering what feed products and how much of them to feed to her? thanks for the advise...

Honor Show Chow by Purina makes two products that when mixed works well.  Mix Full Control with Fitter's Edge.

There is no need, get HSC full control!! I feed that with a little bit of beet pulp to keep them fresh, and full. Works great.

Why would you want to hold a Show Heifer that is going to a State Fair?  How old is she?  What frame score?  What does she weigh?

She is an Angus HF weighing about 1300, which she is about it perfect condition for what I would like her at. I would like to show her in open class and possibly the 4-H show too. Thought I could get away a little cheaper by mixing my own ration with oats, cottonseed hulls, etc.
