Just wondering what experience have people had with this feed. I am now feeding the fitters edge and been happy with it so far, I will soon be feeding my steer with the Finishing Touch next month in my next delivery.

The largest problem I saw with this feed was inconsistency. However, I have been told they got past this. With this in mind, I now feed everything in the barns (cattle and pigs) Umbargers. I feel that there is not another feed out there that is better. I'm assuming you are in Pa by your name, and I know there are some dealers around. They also have a dang good sheep feed, and from my experience, Umbargers is typically $40-50 less/ton. Getting a better feed for less cost is a no brainer IMHO. One of my buddies fed HSC all this year until something happened to his last order before Louisville. he switched to Umbargers and in his words, this stuff is the sh**. The cattle love it, look good, and perform.
For finishing the steer depending on if he is fat or not, I'd put him on Cattle Blaster or Barley Base.
Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

We fed Umbarger's this past year and all 3 of our steers primed. Our shorthorn was prime-, the 2 crossbreds were prime. Great feed...they love it.
