At what age would you start trimming hooves on calves that will be show cattle. these calves have been on a 18% protein creep and there feet are getting pretty long. I just don't want to do it to early if it will mess them up long term.
You're way better off doing a little at a time rather than a major overhaul every 6 months. Changing the way one walks will cause structure problems that you may never fix.
