Have a unit from a house and was wondering if anyone has put one of them in a cooler and how you did it? Do i need more then just the unit itself or can i just put duck work in and would be off and running?

Just build a window or use an existing one and install and plug it in.  You may want butt fans to make sure the air circulates around the critters.

Do you mean a central air unit?

yep its a central air unit

If it is central air you are going to need the outside condenser unit as well as the blower for the inside and a thermostat.  It would be just like setting one up in a house.

We have a 3 ton central air unit I had professionally installed. I built the room and used R30 insulation. I can get the temp down to 55 when outside temps are over 85. It is more complicated than just plugging in a window unit. How many head will you have in the space and how big is the space. We have a 24 by 20 room. I can put 4-5 comfortablely in their and maintain temps.

I have the cooler already but i was wondering how hard it would be to put that central air unit in it.  Right now i just have a window air unit that keeps it at 65. We pulled the unit out of a house we bought so i figured id put it to work.
