the first osu couldn't beat usc but the second could.  great game to say the least. that was what everyone was saying about usc though, when they show up they play very well hence the disappointing losses to oregon state last two times and stanford last year. usc showed up in the rose bowl and ohio state games (although i believe that the game was closer than the score). quite a shake up in the bcs

Yeah that game almost made me wish I had gone up to school early so I could have been there, but if I did that I wouold miss a sale this weekend.  That was a good game though.  OSU has been known to beat good teams which was why I didn't see any reason for them to be 25 point underdogs to begin with.

1st, Ohio State gets slaughtered.  Then USC loses to a 1-2 team.  What a great season so far!!  Gotta love it!!    (clapping)

Oregon State was better than a 1-2 team and definitely better than the blow out at penn st.  Every year they start out bad, a lot of the time 0-3, then come back and when the rest of there games.  Nonetheless it was a suprising win.

They have some talent.  That RB is very shifty & impressed big time.  They probably wont win the PAC 10 or anything, but I could see them going to a decent bowl game.  With all that said, they were 1-2, but now they are 2-2.  But, more importantly, USC is no longer unbeaten!  (thumbsup)  <party>

Could this mean a rematch between
Ohio St and USC in the Rose bowl?

From what I hear this blowes usc out of the NC game and I can't see how osu can even think that they would be there. The big 12 and the SEC is where the NC teams will come from. roni

I would tend to agree with you, but look at last year.  Number one was a curse!  USC has lost early enough to climb back up the polls if history repeats itself.

It will be harder for USC to climb back up though since none of there remaining opponents are ranked.

As long as the teams ahead of them keep losing it won't be hard at all.  It happened last year.  At least one and probably 2 of their remaining opponents will be ranked by the time they play them.
