How do you mark your stuff?

Time for us to start getting things organized for the summer horse and cattle shows.  Several of the kids we show horses with don't have trailers so we usually end up with 4 or 5 horses on our trailer and the tack compartment full of stuff.  Same thing goes for cattle shows, in the excitement of getting everything ready for a show stuff ends up everywhere.  We are in NE and it seems like everyone gets the majority of their stuff from Sullivan's so everything looks the same.  In the past I have used a little spray paint or marker to add a color or our brand to our stuff so we can find it but I am wondering what everyone else is using?  I was thinking about buying some sort of engraver to use so we could add our brand to wood (brushes, comb handles, forks, etc.). metal (blowers), and plastic (feed pans, buckets) does anyone do this?  Any suggestions on a good engraver, I thought about a dremel tool but don't know much about them.

We usually mark our buckets and feed pans with OFS in magic marker, and our big stuff has our farm sign on it.

I like to use the paint pens.  You can get them at Wal Mart in the hobby department, probably lots of other places that sell that sort of thing as well.  They come in a variety of colors and tip sizes.  I'm partial to the white myself, shows up well on alot of things (right down to the inside of a show halter).  Yeah, someone could paint over it, and it might wear off eventually, but I feel like having it easy to see does more good than a smaller permanent mark that you have to look for.

I'm pretty good about marking everything except spray cans, but I'll be getting better at that since I've been reminded how easily they just grow legs and walk away...

We spray paint our things. Works great especially on the handles of things. No doubt when you see a green handle on something that it belongs to us.
