Always an event to toast to! AJ- I may be slow, but where are you located? I work in wheat, so I always like to know more. Thanks!

Skift of snow on the ground here in Ontario over the weekend. Hard white frost on the ground here this morning. Most of the corn is planted around here and some soys. There is some three leaf corn around that might have froze off (it should grow back). Looks cool and wet for most of the week.

I-40 east of OKC is shut down due to tornado damage.  A big Loves convenient store took a direct hit and there is a lot of damage.  This has been quite an outbreak of tornadoes.

Sounds like the count is now about 20 separate tornados in the southern 1/2 of Oklahoma this evening.  So far everything is either north or south of us.

I just got back from a trip to southern Iowa and back to central Nebraska then straight north to Canada again. It was a COLD TRIP! Iowa was colder than here in Saskatchewan. Last Saturday morning it was 25F. It looked like most of the corn and some of the beans were seeded from Fargo to Omaha. Once we got about 100 miles west it was a different story. I don't think I saw any seeded land between Columbus, Nebraska and the Canadian border. The warmest day I have seen in the last week was today when I got home. It has been cold here for the past week, but certainly no colder than many parts south of here
