how to build hair without a cooler?

just wondering what some ways are to build hair without a cooler, I've been putting them under fans and in a dark area and I rinse 3 times a day. Any other little tips that will show progress?

Elbow grease. Lol. I have never had a cooler either and have close to the same quality of hair every year. Dont cut any corners and make sure to condition the hair also. Darkness and fans do very well. We also use misters.
