It has been a while since I da Man was discussed on here.  Put one in a recip last year and really impressed with the quality.  Pictures are at 3 days.  He was really good sized and in a small simmi recip, who is an easy keeper, but everything worked out ok.  Really good attitude also.

Don't get to see too many of them finish out after they go to their new home, but a close friend bought this one and his sister showed it the last two years.  He was a little smaller framed steer and got better the older he got.  Had some shoulders, but grew in to them nicely.  He finished just short of 1300 and could have used another 50 lbs or so, to be the champion steer, but he was the champion middle weight and the Reserve overall.  Have a full sib to him that is better shouldered and a bit more framey, hope he does as well.

Mark, we’ve had several. All have been bigger, no heifers though. The cow they are out of is a Monopoly x Ace that has really produced. Her other calves have been 85 max. I like them and was really hoping for a heifer, but all my eggs are 6-1’s.  Sticky, but probably bulls.

Very small sample size here, but I just clipped out a March steer calf that will be going to a local county Fair. He's really neat. Come a long ways in the last two weeks. Gunna be a really competitive fat I think. He's out of a red Angus x smooth sailing cow. The cow is a powerhouse,n always has really cool calves though

We had this calf this year, which is a full sib to the above steer.  This calf I think is a quite a bit better.  I have included the washrack photo and his sale photo.  Really nice complete calf.
