How wet are you fields? The weather has been very crazy lately, snow here and there, rain constant for hours, not to mention the ground thawing!!

Where??  We still have 18 inches of hardpacked snow, -15 on Monday, with blizzard warnings tonight, through Saturday a.m.  Calving will be fun tonight.  <beer>

High of 45 today, snow has been melting and muddy as can be, 50's and wind all week it says, so it should start to dry out. I finally can see some green grass poking out of the ground.

Wet enough that if you threw a rock in them it would sink. We had about 2+ft of sow melt off in the last week. The sad part is theres still a lot of it left.

Wet? We are having grass fires and most of Colorado is in a extreme fire danger. The  mountains have above normal amounts of snow but the plains have had very little moisture.

We are having one of the worst blizzards today that I can ever remember. As close to zero visibility as it can get. It was 32 F when I checked cows this morning and within an hour I could hardly see outside. I took the tractor to feed the cows and gave up as I had no idea where I was going. Now the temp is dropping like a rock. I am sooooooo ready for spring!

Very dry here too.  Lots of bad fires around the area.  There's been some small spotty rains here and there for the past couple weeks, but it's so dry to begin with and so windy that they don't do any good.  We need a nice general rain very badly here.

We are dry as a bone here in N. Texas.  We had 9 grass fires in our county just yesterday.  One burned 1000 acres within a 1/2 mile of our place.  We've been in the 70's, and going to get into the 80's later this week.  No rain in sight!

Here in northern Ohio the weather has been a pain in the ***. 38 and rain (up to 2") one day and 28 and snow (up to 8") the next. Now today were looking at 42 with a small percent chance of rain. We will be washing cattle for our expo later this week today bscause tomorrow it's back down in the 20"s but sunny. Got to go as I HAVE TO HAUL MORE STRAW.

Wet. The ground we walk on isn't half bad but the cattle pens are muddy as heck. as soon as you throw straw down and cattle step on it  it becomes just as muddy. Ugh.

Our fields are awful, if you stand long enough you will sink to about mid calf on your leg. We had severe flooding here, going thru our field is run off ditches for water from the road to get to the creek, that ended up flooding right into our barn(indoor pond anyone) its just now gone down but is mushy and dont even wont to mention the stalls which i get the lovely honor or mucking out all day today. Then gota wash the steer to get ready for expo next Saturday, he thought the mud would help his skin and coat. Too much to do around here this week. 8) However my ducks are loving it ;D
