Have a 734 x (Dream On x Black Redeemer) first calf heifer to breed next spring.  Looking for something with CE in a  maternal package.  Live calf is top priority.  Thanks

Jakes Sultan Of Jazz at 10 years old. Clean INCLUDING DS-WORKS VERY WELL ON SIMMS-As EZ calving as any Angus-Angus would be my choice number 2-but Im sick of looking at black cattle-at least to show a little O0

I was expecting Angus options.  The SS is interesting (blue roans seem to catch eyes).  I like the looks and pedigree of Red Revolver but not sure he is sure fire CE yet.  Not wanting to take the risk. I really like this heifer.

Blue roans are one of the strongest crosses there is-Even in places like VA .We have some simm xShort blues, and they really improved upon both the sire and dam sometimes the bull was Simm, sometimes the cow-So its not just cuz I do some horns, I like other cattle too-Sultan is about as proven for CE as they get.Jakes proud Jazz-DS or not is one of the most widely used bulls of any breed for CE-based upon the different breeds-cows he has been used on. O0

I think you may want to consider using slider. He has been very well received as a calving ease bull with a CE of +18. He has been used very successfully by some of the best breeders in the business and his calves look the part. Watch for some of his offspring selling in sales this fall.  He really makes them good. You can pm me if you have any questions.

I have a clubby heifer that I am considering using slider on. Some very good looking calves out there and all reports are very heifer safe.

For an Angus option we have used JSAR Titan on a few SimX heifers and really like the results. I think Kris Black had a Titan daughter or 2 in this years COC and many of the heifers sold bred to Titan.
