I would stay away from eye candy or monopoly if you want any of the flushes or calves comin down south the monopolys are not stout enough to slick and the eye candys i have seen down here arent stout or big enough to be champions they are good cattle for sure but i think there are way better bulls to breed to other than follow the trends of everyone else. If everyone breeds to a bull and there are twenty calves out of the same bull in a class then the odds are for that bull. To keep her for heifers i think I-80 or mercedes would be a good click. I would agree with irish whiskey or heatwave though. Just my opinion.
I agree with Eye Candy and Monopoly not throwing calves that will slick well, but when it comes to what you said about keeping females She's a Dr. Who X Alii/ meyer, Mercedes Benz is an Ali X Dr. Who and I-80 is An Ali out of a cow that goes back to Dr. Who, That's pushing it past linebreeding and into inbreeding in my opinion. Plus neither of those Bulls are really old enough to know how their daughters will perform.

I understand what your saying about pushing the line but that kinda goes to the conversation of breeding dirty and within cow families its either going to work or its not but when it works you can dang near predict to the T how that cow will breed and they are usually reliable. Predator or sooner might be a better option for high percentage maines. I sure wouldnt be scared to try heatwave, walks alone, or milkman if your flushing her to put in large recip cows! All of our walks alones have been sound enough possibly a tick straight up front but a lot of bulls are that way i think that female with the way she is bred and such shall have plenty of structure in her make up to be fine with walks alone.

If you want to go outside the box a little I think that White Chocolate would make both powerfuls Heifers and steers out of her. Good luck on whatever you choose!!

that would be a different mating not sure if it would work but if it clicked you would probably get a good show calf

I would think steel force would work really well to give you a 50% sim. He has proven himself to produce the best Simmental show heifers. I haven't heard how they are in production.
