For those of using Inforce 3 as part of your newborn health protocol.  How do you manage it since it is a vaccine that has to be rehydrated and used right away?  Do you wait until you have enough calves to use the whole vial?  Maybe some of you have 10 or more born within a day or two of each other, but some of us will take 2 - 3 weeks to get 10 new calves to utilize a whole vial and not waste it.  Can it be kept refrigerated for a few days or more after rehydrating?  How long is accetpable to wait after birth to get the newborn vaccinated and still be a beneficial procedure?

We use it in our pre-weaning vaccination program; but not for newborns - haven't had any reason to want to..
Vaccinated a group of 15 steers this morning with it + OneShot; will come back on them with BoviShield Gold 5 in 10-14 days.

It will not 'keep'; you need to use it within an hour or two(max) of when you rehydrate it - and keep it cool until you've used it all.
They do make it in individual doses - and that's what we've gone to, since we don't always have multiples of 5 to vaccinate.  Yeah, it'a a pain in the butt to have to mix every single dose, but that's how we do it.

We also get the single dose bottles for calving.  It is a great product!
