Our vet gave an injection  of Tetradure (actually several) to steer about a month ago.  Neck was swollen up half the size of a football.  All have resolved except for two knots  - one about half the size of a softball and the other about half the size of a golfball.
I've searched all over for ways to try to treat the treatment sites .  Can anyone give me info on what to do to get them to completely resolve?
Any info would be greatley appreciated.

GatorMom- I have used tetradure on my cattle as well, and it can leave a large knot on the neck. It is an excellent, long lasting antibiotic though. All the knots that we have had on our cattle's neck have resoved on their own over time. You might want to check with your vet, but I would just leave it alone.

agreed, at worst i would expect a silver dollar hard spot to the touch maybe a little raise.  Using such drugs you run the chance of a reaction.

Our steer from last year had an injection in the neck.  The swelling went down but left a bump.

I have a yearling butt that has just gotten rid of a golfball sized know from a tet. injection we gave in March.  Some just don't handle drugs well.
