Injection site swelling

I took my show heifer to the vet and they gave her advocin injection for respiratory disease. In the injection site she has swelling and I don't see it going down. We are taking her to the San Antonio stock show next week.  Someone recommended to give her banamine or the generic brand prevail for the swelling. What can I do to get the swelling down.

Banamine is an anti- inflamatory, sort of like giving them aspirin, so it may help. Why don't you ask the vet who gave the injection  what he recommends?
