Growing, hay consumption going way down, gonna need to mow the lawn this weekend.  Newborn calves on green pastures - happy times.

Found the first speck of green today when I was shoveling snow. If we still have snow on the ground on April 15th, it will have been here for 6 months. We had our first snowfall Oct 15th of last year. Looks like we'll be in the 50's for the next week or so, so I'm hoping things start to green up.

Wow am I ever jealous reading this thread.

Here the "grass" is under a thick blanket of snow yet.

The fences cannot be seen to the north of the buildings as the snow is drifted 6-8' deep.

Spring seems a long way away for the time being.

I hear they are calling for some warmer temps this weekend so I hope it follows through!

We have grass about 8 inches tall with good clover growth also. The Bluebonnets look good along the roads. Only had to feed hay for 3 months this winter. Getting the garden in has been tough because of the rain but I wont complain. We needed the rain real bad.
