The last MARC date I saw was very complimentary to Shorthorns in every measured category.  From carcass quality to performance.  All I know is that I have a waiting list for locker beef and those who get it are extremely pleased to say the least.  The locker comments on the high quality of the beef every time.  I've used every possible piece of Shorthorn genetics available since the early 60's.  Evidently something was right.

Our JJC Wild Side's dam was bred like Da Big Hurt.  Wild Side bred thick, useful, moderate cattle with some look.

He sure did-dont forget the cattle back there from Shirleys Shorthorns- SRPd whatever-Bottom Line-probably the single thickest bull of any breed who ever lived  Had AL TORRES and RED Knight and PETRO TWO and Kansas Range Cattle from Blue Gate and Joe Farris on back to the steer cattle from the southern plains of the 60s on back Ive got every picture you or they ever sent me-let the friends and neighbors see your recent  Fresh Air heifer and her way cool Dam sired by him-Im real glad to post it  O0 proud too-Dales cattle are documented from the very inception of Shorthorn performance testing which I believe started in the 1960s

/// Me and Stuart Manchester -ALM  Surf, Full sibs to sonny Sabatage,  etc bought a bottom Line from Shirley at Denver 2003-YOU EVER SEE THAT BULL? SHE HAD A PICTURE of him at Denver he was a beast-You almost couldnt go any further -OF COURSE HE WASNT A PERFECT FRAIL FRONTED FED 50 POUNDS A DAY LITTLE PIGGY WHO NEVER BRED COWS They had:the thickest, most imperfect, politically incorrect ,Shorthorns on the planet from day one-But some of them were way good -And they are very nice people-too-Which certainly is a raritie amongst alot of the young entititled cattle producers and fat  greedy unhonest pigs with "bull studs" and other such genetic frauds O0
