Almost definitely.  He can play dumb like the rest of them.

It is well known Jackson Jr. hates Obama.  The threat to pick Jackson Jr. by Blago was pretty solid in order to get himself a position of power from Obama.

It is only going to get uglier from here.

I heard this morning that the Illinois first lady was involved in the taped calls as well and was using a lot of profanity.  The report also said she has been quite involved with Tony Resko in several real estate deals.  Interesting how the same shady characters keep surfacing with connections to a specific Senate seat in Illinois.  Maybe the media and the voters should have looked into this a little more before the election instead of down playing it.

It was a sad day for Illinois, but it wasn't unexpected.  Gov. Blago was from the Chicago power base that seems to run everything in the state of Illinois.  Blago had to have his own private jet to fly to Springfield because he refused to live in the state capital.  I really hope that our next governor, whoever he or she is, that they understand that there is more to Illinois than Chicago.

Without a doubt Jackson knew.  That whole group is a bunch of good backtrackers - I never said that

Yep, and so did obama.  And if he didn't, he a very very very bad (refraining from using my country language) "team leader".

Heard an interesting quote today on radio......we do NOT have a Democracy, we have a representive government, and that is NOT a Democracy.
In a representive governement the people get exactly what they deserve (it was them who voted for them).

hmmmmmmmm

in a democracy, this is essentially populism and the public votes on everything.  i don't want a democracy.  our founding fathers cautioned us against that.

the problem, is that we have lost control of our representative government for a variety of reasons and they have become worse than the mob.
