Here is a picture of my 4-H steer that I raised at home.  Only his neck and small portion of his tail has been clipped but it will give you an  idea.  I could have set him up better I think.  His dam is a commercial Angus cow and sire is JWR.  Please post the good, bad, and ugly.

My eyes are very good any more, but, I really like the calves profile. I was lucky to see JWR at the OHio Beef Expo when he came out. Stout bull but was smaller in stature. He was correct and had heck of a top in him. Hair dude. Looks like when you get him peeled down you will have a nice calf. What are your plans for him? Did I miss the birthdate?

He is a march 14th calf. I hope to take him to our county fair. This is my first year showing a clubby steer I have shown Angus steers for 4 years. I am really excited to give the clubby bulls a try. Every one on here has been a lot of help. Thanks

Based on the pictures I think he looks sickle hocked and he looks awfully big through his shoulders. Also his hip might not be square enough for the show ring depending on how much competition he'll see. I think he will be a good county fair steer. I might be a little too critical, I've been looking a videos and pictures of Denver cattle for the past couple of weeks, but on any account he will look better once he's fitted and not standing on frozen ground. Keep us posted on him!
