Who has had any calves by Broker and what did you think of them? We flushed 2 cows today and the semen didn't reverse sort on the bull we sent. They couldn't find our back up semen, so I had a friend flushing to Broker and he let me have some to use on our cows. It was that, or throw the eggs away. The good thing is, at least they will all be heifers.

What cows did you flush?  I had one Broker calf this year out of a bred heifer from Durham Nation.  Bull calf weighed low 70s.  30C is his tag.  I'm more partial to these type of cattle so I'm inclined to tell you this situation might just be a blessing in disguise  (thumbsup)  How many embryos did you end up with?

Like the angularity of the bull calf and the depth of rib. Nice head shape. Is the tip of his tail black?

We flushed B Good Dottie 3R and SULL Myrtle Bo 1033( bought her at our sale in April) both are genetic defect free of all 3. They just recovered oocytes yesterday, so we will know for sure next week how many were good enough to freeze. These 2 cows are really deep bodied and have real nice udders. Will probably have some for sale if we get enough.

He will work better than you think on both, and is a complete outcross that I know of.They will probably be more commercial oriented than showy JMO. Im gonna say they would be similar somewhat in type to Hor Commodity calves O0
