Thanks, I wouldnt say we are new, we have had several champions. It really is just me and my brother, we used to show lambs and steers but have been showing and breeding heifers since about 2005. Our first calf we raised was a state fair champion. I dont think we will be using a red angus on her, Id like a pb shorthorn to show as a cow calf pair and shorthorns are alot more marketable in our area.

thanks mark, those a re very nice things to say. We have been told that she closely resmeble her grand dam Picture Perfect who was the 2002 reserve national champion, but I dont think we could be that lucky to have her turn out like that. Thanks again.

Just a quick update for anyone who is interested. We took our new shorthorn plus heifer out to Lima for the heart of it all and she was named reserve champion plus. In preparation for some other shows, we didnt take her to agr, but we did take our fall shorthorn and she was also named reserve champion. The plus is a SULL Blue Blood X SULL Breathless and made it to the final drive at North American. The shorthorn is SULL Perfect Pattern, Sonny X SULL Perfect Solution.

At some recent shows, we have been asked about the possibilty of selling interest on our heifers. This is a definate possibility in the future, and we thought we would just throw the idea out there and see if any of you shorthorn or club calf breeders would be interested. Atached are some recent photos of our shorthorn SULL Perfect Pattern, and our shorthon plus SULL Miss Blue Blooded (THC).

Perfect Pattern ( WHR SONNY X SULL Perfect Solution) was Grand Champion at the Eastern Regional Jr. Shorthorn Show, Reserve Grand Champion at the State Fair of WV alternating PACE Show, a division champion at KILE (open and jr.) Atlantic Major PACE Show, The Reserve Grand Shorthorn at the Ohio AGR, Grand Champion Shorthorn at the 2010 PA Beef Expo, and the Champion Shorthorn female at the Bedford Co Jackpot. She is due early December 2010 to Jakes proud jazz. She has seen the show ring 9 times, and was a crowd favorite at the 2009 NAILE.

Miss Blue Blooded (SULL Blue Blood X SULL Breathless) was the National April heifer calf champion at 2009 NAILE Open Show, the reserve Grand Champion Shorthorn plus at the 2009 heart of it all, and Champion Commercial and Third Overall Supreme at the South East Classic Jackpot. She has only been shown 4 times.

Let us know what you think, if you have any questions, or would be interested in purchasing embryos in the future. We feel as though their best days are still to come.
