Tremendous lookin calves.The hard work has its rewards. Doesn't hurt to have solid genetics also,along with a good eye for functional cattle.I think there would be several reasonable options as far as breeding.i would definitely consider Ace of Diamonds.you would keep the style and have great genetics.For her second go round or future flush,Off Road might be a good idea.Of course a lot of folks will tell you Bloodstone, Gus,JPJ which would make marketable calves. Ace of Diamonds is not considerd calving ease,but the folks who bred him,friends that we know who uses him,along with ourselves have never had a problem using him on first calf heifers.For your Shorty Plus you also have a lot of options.Most would say Angus,sometimes myself included,being how she is bred I would suggest Total Solution[exceptional calving ease with very few throw aways] possibly his new [but unproven] promotional son,Jesse James.After seeing him and I-80, I'm going against past judgement and gamble a little on unproven bulls.....Good Luck, and congradulations.

TMJ, thank you so much for the response. The shorthorn is bred to Jakes Proud Jazz, and we plan on breeding the plus the same way, as we would like to show her as a pair and her calf would be regiestered 75%. As far as flushing goes, we love the idea of a sexed ace of diamonds flush, or bloostone on the shorthorn, and hairy bear seems to be the clubby consensus for the plus. We think that both of these females would be great in shorthorn operations, and because of thier structural integrity, hair,  and show ring sucess could excel going to the clubby side of things.
