I took a few pictures of our spring bulls this weekend. I thought I would share. Both are for sale, since we do not use live bulls in our program except in extreme conditions.

The first two pics are of an Upgrade sired bull, April born (so 12 months). He weighed 1330 on Saturday. He is in the top 4% of the breed for weaning weight, yearling weight, ADG, and carcass weight. He was 80 pounds at birth.
The last picture is of the HPF Optimizer bull, just a June. He weighed in at 1008 pounds. We hope to show him this summer, since he is a little younger and we can hold on to him a little longer. He is in the top in his EPD's too.
The last shot is a rear shot; Upgrade on the left and Optimizer on the right.
We used HPF Optimizer a bunch this fall, I am super happy with the few we have.

Good looking bulls!! Really like the upgrade.

Thank you! That Upgrade bull sold in the first 48 hours after I posted him online. He is going to TX on Sunday. Upgrade sired cattle are always easy to sell, and I keep all the females in my herd. Love them in production!

Really uniform bulls! I like them both! I'm considering sampling Optimizer this Spring and seeing calves like that sure helps! You still liking yours?

Love them! Our favorite calves by far. Our fall yearling heifer will take some banners this year I am sure, and that bull is super nice. Here are a few pics I took today of him. That June bull is already 1050 pounds, and the yearling heifer (Nov) is at about 1100. She bred on her first heat, and is an easy keeper! We have NUMEROUS Optimizers due next fall.

He's really looking good so far! ;D

How are the Optimizers doing frame wise?

You like your Optimizers or Ironhides better?

Optimizer seems to frame up so far. Our November is bigger than her dam already, and she is just over a year old!

Now the second question is a bit tricky! I like them both, for different reasons. Iron hide puts bone and mass on them, but they are a tick straight in the hock and shorter necked (in my few I have).
Optimizer put mass, belly, and makes them pretty. I like Optimizer more because he is a 3/4 blood, versus Iron Hide is a half blood. Both have good numbers, so that is good.
HOWEVER, we have two Iron Hides in our show string this year, and one Optimizer (two if you count the bull), so they are both good.

I really like the overall balance of the Optimizer bull; maybe this should be in another thread but how are the cattle out of the steel force son that you raised and collected?

GREAT! We have 6 females in production now, and all have picture perfect udders and doing great as a 2 year old. The red bull calf with white face I have pictured is out of a heifer sired by him, and the pair is fantastic! All heifers calved from different AI sires (Live Ammo, Broadway-2, Uno Mas and Trademark), and one had an embryo calf. I will guard the semen I collected and use it wisely!

Thank you for the info! I've got a few cows that I'm wanting to try Optimizer on. Best of luck to ya! (thumbsup)

Thought I would update this; this bull is the Optimizer bull I pictured here numerous times. He is a June bull, so JUST turned one. We have showed him three times and all three champion AOB or percentage. He weighed 1280 in his last weigh in last weekend. I decided to sell him yesterday (we were going to take him to state fair). Put him on Facebook and Craigslist for $3000. He sold in 36 hours, walked on his new owners trailer this morning. He is a horse for sure. I have a bunch of Optimizer calves coming this fall, super excited about them!
Look at his EPD's; that helped sell him...
