I am just taking the sale heifer.  Does anyone know if someone buys a heifer in the sale can they still show it the next day?  I hadn't found anything on that this year?  thanks

When is the sale?  The heifer show is Saturday.   I'm not sure what the rules are regarding ownership but wouldn't think it would matter this time of year.

The sale is Sat. night, but I thought that there was a show the next day also????  I might be wrong(it happens alot) but I though that was what happened last year.

They should have the sale on friday so the people that buy heifers can actually show them. Last year if you bought a calf you culd show them sunday for free.

yea, I know and I have a final at 2:30 on that day.  I hope that I can get my final moved.  If not then my girlfriend is going to have to learn how to drive a stick fast.   ;)

The way they ran it last year the heifer show ran in 2 rings an hour apart on Sat. and the steers did the same thing on Sun., as far as I know that is how it is working this year also.

Jill - Does that allow enough time offset to get the calf shown in both rings?

It worked out great last year, the down side is it makes it a really long time for the heifers to stand.

I can see where it would be a long day for kids & calves both.

last year they had the heifers show saturday and sunday, and the same with the steer. The heifers showed in ring A on saturday with one judge and then on sunday showed in the same ring under a differrent judge. This year they will show in the different rings on the same day.
