it will be the first time to actually show a steer in a national show for me at kansas city and i was wondering if anyone knew the grooming rules for the steer show there and louisville..

also if anyone could tell me if you need to send in any dna or something for louisville. i sent in the packet for kc but didn't plan on going to louisville at the time. i looked at the naile premium book and it only says entry deadline is october 1. i'm not sure if he will make it to louisville since they mouth them there because he is a little older. any help would be great.

the royal website said no unethical fitting like adding hair or hair substitutes and filling in with air oil or other things but it didn't say anything about color alteration. so does that mean you can paint?

I believe Angus would be the only breed that doesn't allow paint, I'm pretty sure it is still allowed in the steer show.

Judging from all the black paint that lands on our Charolais I would say that they paint ALOT at the Royal.
