When steers get bored that's when them seem to get into the most trouble. Does anybody have any creative ideas to keep them busy. I can't think of anything and they always seem to get bored then try to break out or do all kinds of things

i used to have a mischievious market steer. I ended up putting on of those big bouncy, exercise balls in the pen with him and he actually butted it around a lot. it helped

Agreed on balls to play with. Over winters I have to keep one in the lot to keep my heifer busy otherwise there isn't a board left on the fence as soon as the new wears off the round bale.

Try the ball in the middle of his pen. I used to have a crazy brahman heifer who loved barrels. She would throw them around and play with them all day. She also played with HUGE full round bales. She would roll them around the pasture. That is why I moved on from the 2,200 pound animals lol...

We use one of those balance balls that you do crunches on.  Surprisingly sturdy.
