Electrons travel up the pee stream faster than pee stream leaves point of exit.  Perhaps showsteernc did not have a steady stream or was not adequately grounded.  Or, and I apologize for being unable to resist this suggestion, but perhaps there just wasn't enough there to shock.
And that just crossed the line, but was a pretty good one.  (lol)

He did not do the fence thing but he did spell his name in the snow. Just found that tonight. Laughed my butt off. I was going to get a photo for later in life, but the dog jumped in the middle of it before I got the camera. Glad he just a normal boy.

the best is to grab a buddy's arm then grab the fence...absolutely hilarious.  Even funnier when he tries to do it to you and gets it backwards.  (lol)

Hope our kids aren't reading this.  You all are giving them some great ammo.  LOL.

My boys are 21 and 19 now, I can not tell you how many times I must have said these phrases:
"What were you thinking?"
"That thing on the top of your shoulders is not just a hat rack"
"After you saw what happened to him, why did you try it?"
"What do you mean, you forgot to tell him the brakes don't work?" Broken wrist and concussion later.
"The lawn mower is not made to jump stuff" apparently he still thought the truck was.
"Don't let your mom know what you did, she'll kill us both"
"Is any body hurt or bleeding, then I do not want to know about it."

I am sure there are more but that all I can remember at this time.

Not scared to admit that I did this not once, not twice, but three times! I am a self proclaimed airhead and I feel it might have started when I was really young:)

I always liked convincing the "boys" that helped in the showbarn to help me check fence. One guy...... let's just say he was about 6 foot tall in first grade..... would always put the tester on the fence first. ALWAYS! I laughed and laughed every dang time.

And one more piece of evidence that I have always been an airhead: As the adults were leaning against a hog panel fence, checking things out I started digging around in my dad's truck, only to find a hot shot. Not sure what possessed me to put it up to that exact same fence and pull the trigger, but I was sure glad I could out run them!!! Man, they got shocked and were not the least bit enthused!

Thanks for the laugh this morning, y'all! Really needed it here in Yukon, America  (clapping)

I read this thread a couple days ago and then took my kids out to do chores.  I had to come back to the house for a minute and when I returned to the barn my 6 year old is standing beside a steel panel with blood all over her face and down her chin.  I then had to explain why we can't touch metal when it is -20C.  I guess I was wrong thinking it was only boys that did things like that!!!
