Daughter is taking her heifer and we should have around 4 head that will be there that were purchased off the ranch last year. hope everyone has a safe trip. What's up with all the rules? No fit, only family members help. Sounds like no one wants to have fun with glue any more.

KJLS was the 1st to go no fit, Kansas State Fair followed them and now most of the spring shows are adopting that policy. I understand all of the reasons they give for doing this, but I still feel that fitting the cattle you are showing is part of the project, these shows need to be fit shows! I know most don't agree with me, but I think this is SO sad, in the next 3-4 years you will have a bunch of Kansas kids that just can't compete at the next level because none of them ever learned how to fit. Ok off my soap box now, I would love to meet you all, we are in the Johnson County stall area.
