Have seen a limited amount of Manchilds. The one's I've come in contact with were pretty stout. We have a manchild 2 year old with her first calf. The stoutest black Baldy I've ever raised, out of Dirty hairy. This cow is absolutely the stoutest looking cow as far as bone and muscle that I have ever owned. She is out of a Strictly Bussiness cow. She was NEVER heavily fitted, although she would have made a tremendous market heifer. As much as my daughter loves her,I'm afraid she may not be around long, unless she talks me into keeping her to flush. The reason being: NO MILK!!! Damn shame really as she looks like a club calf momma should look like. Her calf is GOOD,he robs milk from other cows and we bottle feed him, trying to bring him along. This is only a little story about keeping Manchild heifers for cows. Hope if you keep one,you have better luck.

Thanks for that info, This spotted heifer is going to get tried as a cow... I hope she milks, if not she will get a ride to the sale barn.
