I have an old AI book, Curtis Breeding Service or ABS, I think, that has an LCR Sir Sam bull in it.  It's near the top of my stack so I'll dig it up tonight.  If you don't know much about the Litton Charolais Ranch, it's a very interesting story.  I have seen a documentary on Jerry Litton from about 50 years ago.  At the time, it was definitely state of the art.  I think I remember them having closed circuit TVs in the calving barn.  If you drive to the north side of Chilicothe you can still see some remnants of the old place if you know what you're looking for.  I haven't been through for a while, but they were there the last time I drove through.

Of course you can find anything you want on the internet.  "Happy are those who dream dreams" is the name of the film I saw about Jerry Litton.  It's worth your time if you haven't seen it.  I guess it's been closer to 40 years ago than 50, since I watched it.

I toured the farm back in 1974 during the National FFA
Convention.  Very impressed.

I recall the monument they erected for LCR Sir Sam 951 and the
big Charolais bull as you turned down the lane to the farm.

I toured the farm on our way to or from the American Royal for the 4-H judging contest in 1960. We were second by one point to the Oklahoma team. First time I had ever seen an air conditioner in each bull barn. It was impressive to a junior in high school for sure.
