I have a Hfr that I'd like to consign in a sell as a bred next year.  But. I'd like to see her shown but I don't have time to mess with it. I see some Farms have people campaign cattle for them.    What kind of agreement do most people do. As far as the expenses and feed.  Not really sure about how to go about doing this. Any advice would be great thank you

Are you wanting to do this on a national level or junior shows? We have had several juniors show for us thru the years. We have done the feed either way and we have also kept a few and have had the kids keep a few also just depends on the situation. We have never had much of an issue working it out.

We've done a few.  Family that shows her gets 1/3 of sale price.  Gotta be kind of selective cuz your partners can either help allot or hinder you.  It's turned out ok for us on some occasions,,,

We have done it as well, but on the exhibitor side.  As stated before, we got 1/3 of the sale price.

The biggest factor for us and the breeder revolved around just how good the heifers are.  You want the advertising, and the exhibitors want to do well.  What you both have to realize is that it does't do anyone any good to haul to shows that are so tough you end up standing at the bottom.  You have to be selective in the shows that you go to or the only advertising that you get is BAD advertising.
