Leaving cows Open

I have a cow that is due to calve any day now. i want to get her back on track for spring calving.  My question is, is it going to cause me problems if I leave her open untill I can breed her for a spring born or should I breed her back asap and just wait the few years it will take me to get her back on a spring calving schedule.

You're only out feed and time if you leave her open

When I have one due in the fall I always hold them for a January calf.  Usually my cows fall back to the fall when I'm flushing them.  I usually flush them after they fall calve as well and stop when I can get them bred for a January February.
