"Generally, when proteins can be protected from ruminal deamination, ammonia declines and ruminants would have more amino acids available in the lower gut."

"Moreover, lemongrass and/or in combination could decrease protozoal population and methane production and especially increase propionate and N utilization."

not sure why the hate.  seems interesting.  better nitrogen utilization (similar to rumensin) and lower methane.
what's not to love for a followup?
carbon credits available at some point. please don't change. not necessary.

The first word of your quote " generally " lost my interest.
Burger King is desperate to stay afloat after their all veggie burgers has been a bust. The world had far more problems than the 2% of the emissions bovine burps produce imo.

this is science speak because science perspective is one can never prove anything, they can only fail to disprove.

i agree burger king is talking out both sides of their mouth to people who hate each other. the earlier link is without political bias.

there will be carbon credit opportunities for management techniques, genetics (feed efficiency) in the near future.

my perspective is to not solve the problem you mention, but to use the phony economic opportunities that are available with all this carbon credit nonsense.

there are quite a few people looking into the carbon credit issue as a source of revenue to people who will pay for credits.

i'm not sure you see the irony.

The irony is see is that Burger King imports most of its beef . My original post was geared towards them. Not the science behind their movement.

The whole fake meat movement is ironic.

If meat is so bad, there is no need to imitate it.

I mean just eating something that resembles meat should be abhorrent.

The whole industry is an other ploy to project superiority and use incremental substitution techniques to de-sensitize resistance of evil meat eaters to stop eating meat.

I view the whole industry as a complete lie.

The better solution is a negative population growth of which the group that is doing this has s rrr et placement rate of probably less than 0.1.

At that rate, there won’t be anyone around In one generation to be in the movement. Their very superiority will simply eliminate them.

Much better global warming strategy.

Agree on the whole meat replacement idea. Same goes with the Soy and Almond milk business.  "Milk" only comes from a lactating animal. Dairyman should have fought that name years ago. Its juice and not milk in my way if thinking...

I finally watched the commercial this morning on YouTube.  It was a hokey, insulting, stupid and cultural misappropriative piece of crap.  If it does anything it will drive customers away from beef in general, not just from BK.  The sooner they file bankruptcy the better.

I couldn’t watch commercial.

It’s complete indoctrination.

I can’t stand Burger King even more now. Ugh.

Most of the largest dairies are in California, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a large dairy in california that isn't also an almond producer. We even have a nearby dairyman here in MN that owns an almond farm out there. The business-savvy individuals saw the writing on the wall and got into that business years ago now.

This is probably part of the reason you dont see big movements in the dairy industry against it--the big operators who could actually finance the campaign have made better use of their money and bought in on the almond farms--if you can't beat em, join em.

almond hulls are like candy to cattle.

they have been used in cattle rations in California for decades.

wild pigs love them too.  excellent chum.

i helped feed almond hulls during the drought a few years ago, and once the pigs found out about them, easily over a hundred would feed side by side with cattle.

we obviously let some hunters know;)

Do you hunt knabe?

no, that connection was lost with my dad.

i like projectile delivery tools.

i have an 1878/1902 phillippine/alaska deliverer. sadly, i don't have the piece of leather that came with it.

i used to think the larger trigger guard was to wear with gloves, but it was so that area was stronger. it was used in alaska.

i guess you could say i hunt gophers and squirrels.
