Just wondering if anyone out there has any Limestone Trifecta daughters and what they look like ? Really like the looks of the bull and for some reason i missed him this spring otherwise some of my breeding decisions may have changed. Id rather the rest of the world proved him first though , just looking for any information be it good or bad , Thanks.

I'm thinking about flushing to Trifecta and I couldn't find any new info on him. Has anyone had any success with him recently. I really liked the heifer from Capatske's sale a year ago that, I believe, went on to win the Nebraska state fair.

Saw one heifer out of him this fall and she was cool. her dam was a Who Made Who. the heifer had cow power written all over her.

My career currently has me about 225 miles away from my cows so I have someone else playing herdsman.  Put in 5 straws of Limestone this past season to go along with the Angus trying for replacements. 3 cows calved, 2 REALLY good heifers and one bull that felt over 125 when I picked him up and threw him in the back of the pickup after getting there late. Looked like a hip-lock and the cow was 734 x 734 and I should have known better than to stack it that close.

Matt,
We got a fall heifer here due to calve in spring. Her mother is as good of an In Dew Time as I have seen and Trifecta made her better. Cleaned her up, deeper, and all in all prettier....but! She is wilder than a deer.

Kept a herd bull back and used last year out of a 3/4 blood cow. Could have been a frame score or so bigger as he was shorter than his Shear Force brother. Must of had around 20 calves out of him and a bunch of them are going to be show calves. Really nice bull, excellent breeder, had alot of muscle shape and made right.......but! at 18 months old put him on fall cows and the son of a gun started sucking cows so down the road he went.

2 bad deals for me don't mean he bad bull. I will use rest of my semen next year I guess but with only 19 calves registered now with 6-7 calf crops makes me wonder how many do work out?

My daughter bought a Trifecta heifer from Silvertown in 2012.  Was an ok show heifer, usually placed in middle of Sim solution class at shows.  Same comment everytime though that she was the cow of class, in other words not the prettiest or flashiest.  Had a calf this spring by Ali solution no probs at all. Daughter came home from school and calf was cleaned off up n nursing.  Very good mother but not crazy protective type.

Woody, you are right. I should have bought her, If there was more pasture not planted to corn, I would have bought her in a heartbeat. She came from a pretty prominent breeder too. <beer>

Used him on 3 simxangus heifers a couple years ago. Had 2 heifers born unassisted, pulled a really big bull calf that survived. All 3 had some white on their face. One of the heifers is now bred to JSAR titan. We will see what kind of cow she will make.  Here is the only picture I have.
