My taste in music is a little different maybe:

Rock-Pearl Jam...Lightning Crashes, Guns N Roses...Cold November Rain,  Fleetwood Mac...Second Hand News

Country-Big & Rich...Save A Horse,  Johnny Cash...I Walk The Line,  Nitty Gritty Dirt Band...Fishin' In The Dark

I really don't listen to much country music, but try to have an open mind for the sake of the show steers.

I know Johnny is the original, but if you haven't heard Travis Tritt's version in acoustic you need to.
I don't think the following is accoustic, but what I could find the quickest.

Be hard enough to pick favorite song from each group, much less most favorite.  I used to do  a ton of driving, so good music has probably kept me awake and alive.  I can't pick a favorite, so I'll just list some I can't believe haven't been mentioned:

Copper Head Road.
Steve Earle - Copperhead Road

If that ain't country
David Allan Coe- If that ain't country

Sunday Morning Coming Down.
Johnny Cash - Sunday Morning Coming Down

Favorite Waylon- Waylon Jennings - I've Always Been Crazy - 1984

Favorite Willie- Willie Nelson - Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground

The Great Divide - Never Could

Rock

I grew up with these guys, so I'm a little partial but I would consider a lot of their stuff rock.
Cross Canadian Ragweed "Lighthouse Keeper"

Gun's N Roses- Civil War
Guns N' Roses - Civil War (Music Video)

When I get into my show mode blowing on a string of cattle my playlist is always 80's and 90's rock

So cold-breaking Benjamin
Call me-shine down
Crawling- linkin park
Higher-creed
Lost in the sun-hinder
Rise above this-seether
So far away-staind
Stricken-disturbed

And yes one nickleback song "never again"

To name a few

-XBAR-, I really like the band, Slightly Stoopid and those songs you choose. Have some of their stuff in my music library.

(thumbsup) I saw them play in San Diego in 06.  They played the entire Acoustic Roots album.
