Usually with liveauctions.tv sales that are subscriber only you can still listen to them but not see any video.  At least that is the way it used to be now that they have changed the format of their website it might not be the case.

You have to pay something like a $50 a year subscription to watch the sales and then you get a little magazine 2 or 3 times a year. Guess you have to make money some how but we have bought through their sale 3 or 4 times. Went to watch another sale and our subscription had evidently ran out and couldn't watch it. Made me mad and I refuse to resubscribe to spend more money to purchase through any of their sales.

Some of the sales the buyer must pay the fee, because some sales you do not have to have the subscription to watch.  I agree with you guys, I am not paying to purchase from any website.

Same thing happened to me when I tuned in to watch Embryos On The Snow.  :(I had registered a couple days in advance and received my bidder # via email, but when I tried to watch it, the screen said that I needed to re-up my subscription (either $20 for a month or $50 for the year)  I guess my subscription ran out.  I don't think I will hand them any money.  I will make my bids over the phone or not at all.  They say it is because of the amount of kids tuning in and the bandwidth needed (all that costs money) and then the breeder or association putting on the sale doesn't have to pay the video feed fee.  Well, Cattle In Motion charges $1.00 for a lifetime and does a fine job, so they have my business.  Plus, they are broadcasting the National Western Stock Show's Livestock shows and supplying show orders.  Great service!!  You have my vote CATTLE IN MOTION!!!
BTW:  I am not an employee of CIM only a satisfied customer.

$50 is cheaper than traveling to Denver, Yes?  I'm a subscriber and a very happy one.  Live Auctions does a tremendous job of attending sales all over the country.  They have a professional staff that's very quick to accept a late registration.  I've made purchases off of Live Auctions and every transaction I've made has been a smooth one.  And no I have no affiliation other than being a subscriber.

You figure they have the expense of traveling to the sale and the cost of their equipment, right?  Have to offset that somehow.  They don't charge a commission on purchases.

I've had nothing but good luck and transactions w/ them.  I think they do a real good auction w/ a good setup.  I have had good communications also everytime I have had a question.

I guess you get what you pay for.  I'm watching Cattle In Motion online National Western Simmental Sale online.  While it's free, the picture is the most horrible picture I've ever seen.  I can honestly say I've never experienced that with either LiveAuctions or Edjecast.  May as well be audio only sale because I can't see a darn thing.  Internet cutting in and out.  We are like 6 lots in and the service is down.  Like I said, you get what you pay for!!!  What a joke.
