Just had a logo designed on this site https://www.hiretheworld.com/ and very happy. I don't know what things cost over there but the cost for three designs ideas here was going to be between $500 and $1500 and on this site I got at least 10 good designs was able to work with designers to get what I wanted for $200 Plus own all work once compleated.  (thumbsup)

Post your logo.  I had 1 good experience and 1 bad experience on a similar website, that doesn't exist now, rent-a-coder.  The good experience was me doing a small project for someone else, the bad experience was me hiring someone to do a large chunk of the coding process in a windows point of sale app.

It's just amazing the prices you can get quoted when you shop around. You can be very lucky and find a good digital media/creative designer working for themselves, but more often than not though you do have to pay to get quality work done. Usually you can get all inclusive packages that will cover website, catalogues and mail-outs etc. I have used a couple of Canadian based companies in the past. This was based on price and the work presented. They offered something different, and a certain 'look' not seen often this side of the Atlantic. Having said that there is also a very good designer who is now based in Scotland. There's nothing worse than a badly designed logo. It's everywhere, and can send out the wrong kind of message. Something classic and sophisticated is always better than something trying to be classic and sophisticated. Simple rule of thumb is avoiding chrome type or effects as these can look cheap. On trend now are classic fonts in matte blue finish.....so I'm told. I always think you should go with what you like.....providing you have taste. LOL.
