Getting ready to order semen and was wondering if anyone has had or seen any calves out of the American Cross bull Lotta Leather and how they looked.  Were they out of cows with some American in them or not?  Thanks in advance for the information.

I've not seen calves but heard that the ears may be a little short.  I know ammo will shorten the ears.  I would not think he would throw enough character for exotic cows.

I have seen a handfull of Lotta Leathers and Lotta Leather himself. Some of the best calves out of him were out of cross calves with plenty of character. Potts cattle in Whichita Falls has a good american out of him and a meyer cow. He works good on heifers as well.
