Here is a pic of my son's steer in front of the backdrop!!
Not the best pic but ya can get an idea of what he looks like!
He weight in at 645# on Friday on an old style scale and on Sunday we weighted him on a digital scale and he was 672#!!  So he is gaining just at 2 lbs a day.

Nice looking Lowline steer and about where he should be I would guess. Our 3/4 blood is an late March and weighing right at 950 right now and is about one bite of feed away from being ready to put into packages. Keep up the good work. It looks like the little guy is having a good time.

I think at your son's age one of the most important things I see is a SMILE on his face. Little guy is gonna be a heart breaker. Your steer looks like he has come along pretty darn good. If Bob May said he was correct there is a man who knows his cattle. Notice the picture of sugar ray...Bob May was one of the original owners. How long ago was that? Mr. May has been at it qiuet sometime and I would respect his opinion lots. Goodluck..Congrats on a job well done.

 (thumbsup)

I have to think in the future there will be a market for smaller packages of beef. I have a group of customers that ask for smaller carcass on their freezer beef. The steer looks great!
