What kind of cow does MAB click with.... not breed but body type and frame size? What does he really bring to the table to help a cow? I've read a few different threads but nothing real recent or fresh.

I have had better luck with him on larger framed cows.  My best calves have been out of either charolais or simangus cows.  He tends to reduce frame.  Some of my MAB calves out of more moderate, clubby cows were too short to work but that could have been because they were TH.  He adds hair, color and great dispositions to his progeny.

I'd use him like monopoly should be used. Cow needs to be a tick bigger framed and longer spined. Flatter shouldered doesn't hurt.

He framed down for me, as well, using a purebred charolais dam.

Sound Sound SOUND calf with phenomenal movement and great length of stride, sane, wide-based front and back, level topped, deep chested, lots of muscle.  Pretty to watch coming, going, and from the side.  No complaints.  Purchased by a great family for Texas majors.

Will use again and tried him in my other, larger, donor for September calf this year as well.
