He's probably a good bull but if you really look at the picture he is way off on how he sets down on all the corners. It looks like a very bad photo shop. There is no way a bull could look like that from that perspective. He's anatomically way off. Look how the front legs match up with the back legs. He just appears to be pieced together with his front at a 45degree angle from the viewer and his butt is stairing at you almost straight on.

All the photo shop pictures of cattle are getting so boring. They all look so monotone and stale. I'm pretty much tired of most of them. They really do not give you enough information to make an educated selection.

I agree

To me there's zero value in an animal that's that much of a structural disaster as that one appears in that picture.,, we know we know Carlson he's probley the best ever but I wouldn't even breed him to a demonstration repro tract for fear of having babies that have that foot set

Well not only is he a monster shoulder structural nightmare, I also look at it from the perspective of disposition which is the reason I will never breed to Walks This Way (his father). Walks This Way is a Walks Alone which calves can get a little nutty from time to time. I have only had one bad one but have heard of a lot more. Now lets look at the cow side. I was around when Haberno was popular and a portion of them got high headed and mean at times. Then the Sugar Ray. We had two cows by sugar ray and they were milking bandits, but good luck getting in the same field as them. they were just da** mean! So you have disposition problems on three sides. No matter what anyone tries to feed me, there is no way in heck I am breeding to walk this way or a son. Granted I am sure out of 10, 5 will be okay, but I don't have time to mess with the other five with fire in their eyes.

Carlson your young take some advice my breed rep told me just a few weeks ago. Use a proven bull don't take shots in the dark with the newest greatest thing. Leave those young bulls for use by the experienced breeders with the bigger herds. When they have a couple consistent calf crops then use them.

On another note earlier this fall there were pictures of all these new laugher bulls unclipped there wasn't a one that I was impressed with. Those guys are some of the best in the business at clipping and making bulls look a certain way.

When i first saw the picture my initial impression of him was he was falling over onto his left side just as the photo was snapped. Then after looking at foot set and the structural makeup i think if you got him running he may go in 3 different directions at once..possibly 4.  And what's up with the shadow? Apparently this guy's neck and head don't leave a shadow. It goes in a straight line from left front foot to top of shoulder and that's it.  Almost as bad anymore as some of the boar studs were several years ago. You could almost tell where the animal ended and the sharpie began.

If that's a bull where are his testicles?  My vision isn't great but he barely looks to have any scrotum.  I guess clubbies don't care about scrotal measurements?

It was breed rep for my area and since we raise Herefords it's not going to help you much but the principal applies. Look at the older bulls that have the traits you want to breed for if you have seen several calf crops out of them they will be more predictable.

Those unclipped pictures were embarrassing, seriously though, how small do these dudes have to get?

I wish there would be some unclipped pics but he wouldn't ever put that on there because that would make the company look bad

Out of those set of pictures I think the I-80 will have the most to give the industry. But I saw a video of the MAB and I'm a big fan of him. Will be interesting to see what they look like at denver

I saw another pic of the red and white mab bull and no doubt he was parrot mouthed as they get. Its not real evident in this pic though. Def not a trait you want to pass on.
