I don't know if my opinion is worth a nickle, but I thought this was a uniquely constructed Maine bull. He was Reserve Grand bred and owned at this years Junior National shown by Blake Runner. He is a polled 3/4 and PHA/TH free. Just wanted to see what everyone else thought of him.

Vince Blakely, and all his kids have bred and shown thier own calves for what seems forever.  They do a great job of producing Show Winners which also work in the pasture.  This bull is typical of their produce, and I'm sure would work in many operations.

He is DRCC Xavier, he is a son of their bull Wild Turkey and one of their 1/2 blood cows which goes back to old school stuff on the DAM side. His registration number 407473.

CAB, I followed this line from the Blakely program for several years. Wild Turkey was one of, if not the deepest Maine bulls I ever came across. He (Wild Turkey) has a very intriguing Maine pedigree that is packed with very stout Maine genetics. He goes back to Limited Edition's Dam through Polled Premier and has a linebred pedigree packed full of PHA carriers (both Dalton and Paramount) but he is clean. Also in his pedigree is a full sister to Smithbuilt and also traces back several times to Vainquer.

This is a pic of  Wild Turkey, DRCC Xavier's sire. Both are clean of PHA and TH. Like father. Like son. Very similar in kind.
