BIM has proven to sire some excellent calves and the ones we have had have been hairy bigger boned and some have a little extra fire.We just got our first Two Tone out of a larger framed black baldy that we bought and the calf was moderate big boned and hairy and couldnt have been blacker, birth weight was average.Big boned is basically like being super hairy it only has value in the show cattle business.Power and extra frame are two different things in my opinion. The best show calves I have seen are balanced in all traits and not extreme in any.If you have cattle that are not fertile or cant have a calf with out assistance every time then you need to analyze your program. For Carlson at the bottom before you post there is a spell check that helps us poor spellers look a little smarter.
