Maternal Perfection Heifer

Turned the cow and calf out last night.  Pictures are of a 3 day old Maternal Perfection x Who Da Man heifer.  Love this calf, can't wait to watch her develop.  Great Disposition too, which is surprising since mom's isn't the greatest.  2nd calf heifer.  Calf came right, was just at 80 lbs and had a ton of vigor.  I have never seen a calf change so much in such a short period of time.  He is on my short list for replacements.

Have decided to keep this one, just wanted to post some pictures.  She is big, easy fleshing, deep, bold sprung on good feet and legs.  I'd love to have a bunch more... Was going to put her in a sale and decided it would be too hard to replace her.

Getting ready for our fair over labor day.  Really like how this heifer has turned out, big, broody, bold sprung and easy keeping.  Bred her dam to Troubadour this year, hoping for another heifer.

Just took a cell phone picture of this one.  She is 6.5 months bred to Uno Mas Simmental.  Really like how she has turned out, will be using him on a couple cows we have that could use deepening up and more muscle.  Pretty decent disposition too.

Yeah, the Who da Man's can get kind of big too. We have a video feed from their calving stall to the house and it helps, plus we put it on our phones too, which has saved a few already.  We like her a lot and she is huge, the right height and just big in every way, especially her feet.  She is the same size as most of our mature cows.  We are really happy with her and will probably flush her after her 2nd calf.  Her mom is bred to Troubadour and we are going to flush her to Unstoppable.

Wow! She really turned it on here recently! Good luck with her! I'll be curious to see how that Uno Mas calf turns out!
