On some of my Maine anjou papers it says sic followed by a percentage. What does that mean?

used in brackets after a copied or quoted word that appears odd or erroneous to show that the word is quoted exactly as it stands in the original, as in a story must hold a child's interest and “enrich his [ sic ] life.”.

Standard Inbreeding Coefficient. I really don't know why COI is preferred over SIC.
When you register a Shorthorn SIC appears in the database until it turns a year?? old and it then it switches to COI.
