I won't say they are a miracle worker, but they do help out a good bit. Also seems to mellow out the calves with a little attitude.

Look at the ads to the left of this post. Scroll down to the one that says Want Hair? in the purple star thing. Click it and it will take you to the website.  I agree that they arent miracle workers, you will still need to work, but they will help and melatonin will take the edge off of one without knockin em out!

Well I'm gonna need something for hair growth I am getting a mouse colored calf and he doesn't have much hair at all... So would these implants work better than shag and hide n hair before I spend this money...?

I dont think one is better than the other!  Melatonin and supplements on their own will not grow hair, they just make it easier to grow the hair!  As we keep saying over and over in these forums, genetics play a big part, but elbow grease, elbow grease, and more elbow grease is what its gonna take!

Well i will definetly be putting th elbow grease into these calves... I usually wash them as much as possible and brush them for at least and hour a day to stimulate hair growth is there any other simple little trick like brushing that will help air growth besies the usual fans ???

Hair growth = keep em in the dark and keep em cool.  Cattle only put on hair for ONE reason and that is to keep their body warm in the winter.  So we have to trick their body into thinking winter is coming to get them to grow hair.  Nature tells them this by the days getting shorter and temps cooling off. SO if you leave them in a dark barn during the day and keep the fans on them that will help a lot with hair growth.  Washing, brushing, blowing, conditioning ensures that you have healthy, quality hair when it grows.
